Database Security Remember databases? While we all followed the headline grabbing material on SOX, CP142, Viruses, Spyware, Phishing and ID theft, the databases at our businesses rolled on, quietly keeping everything running. Sometimes they run so well we forget that unsecured databases can be used to compromise the controls around our business applications.

Come and discuss some of the key issues to address when trying to secure databases in our increasingly connected world, including an introduction to the increasingly common 'SQL injection' web server attacks popular at the moment.

No previous technical knowledge is required, but be prepared to dig and delve into the world of database security. And be prepared to make friends with your local database administrator when you return to work!
